By accessing or using Julie AI (“the Service”), available at julieai.app and through our mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Julie AI is an AI-powered conversational companion designed to provide friendly, supportive chat interactions. The Service is provided free of charge. Julie AI is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, or therapy. If you are in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call your local emergency services.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, threatening, or illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or systems.
• Impersonate another person or entity when using the Service.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as chat messages). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your messages solely for the purpose of generating AI responses. On the web app, your chat history is stored locally in your browser and is not retained on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, code, and AI outputs, is owned by Julie AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Usage Limits

Disclaimer of Warranties

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies — always use your own judgment.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Julie AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or reliance on AI-generated content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
